Bah, only recently woke up tryed to have tywo games of Defcon and the bloody host quits (twice) the first time some guy called AT somthing since he was EU and got wiped out by a russian strike, and so decides to quit the game (dropping myself and the other 4 players)

and the second time, some guy called Teabagger who complained about speed for most of the game (mmm should have known eh) then the second I wipe his defence Navy out and hit his forward radars/Silo he drops.....even If I lose baddly I wont quit the server, and its just bad manners for people to do that...

mm "rant over"

If I get tanked I let the server run but close the window and I don't know? Watch a bit of porn maybe?

Guys can't we all agree on using one Messenger and exchanging our addresses (between people we trust)? That would allow us to run a big-boys game almost every night. (Yeah defconmatch etc. but I am more spontaneous ;))

I run ICQ/MSN/Yahoo etc. So take a pick :o

Sounds like a good idea. Gamespy has a lobby for defcon. But no one ever uses it. I always look and hope someone is there.

What about using the (EU) Ventrillo server, there is a defcon channel there for people to use (public)

hostname or IP - ventrilo.finalwaltz.com
Port - 4212

I think that the lowest common denominator is IRC. Fortunately, there is an irc channel on uplinkcorp just for Defcon!

irc.uplinkcorp.net #defcon
