The 600+ Quest: The Return

Postby Ace Rimmer » Tue Mar 13, 2007 1:53 pm

After a long weekend without playing I was able to get a full game in this morning.

USSR and Europe joined, Asia and Africa joined and it was me and the guy everyone wanted kicked (apparently he shut down a server). I knew I couldn't be allied with him because of that and was relieved when the red alliance asked me to join. I requested to wait until Defcon 4 to give N. America a chance to assume I'd be allied with him and place his units accordingly.

Defcon 1 arrived with the majority of his navy missing and twelve subs south of Mexico City aiming at him. I could see all but one silo and two bases. It wasn't long before he dropped and the CPU took over. It promptly went into launch mode with what was left of his silo nukes. With bombers already in position, N. America was no more.

I waited until what little effort was made against me from the rest and then launched all six silos at what was left of Europe/USSR.

The screenshot says it all.
