Unconventional Opponents-or how to win through idiocy

Postby roflamingo » Wed Mar 07, 2007 6:52 am

-- Jesus (USSR)/Weps (Europe)/Hank Scorpio (Africa) go red.
-- Peacekeeper (NA) and Andorian15 (SA) go blue.
-- I stay orange because orange is a fine colour and flavour, and I like saying orange. I'm Asia.
-- I placed all of my navy in the Indian and destory Hank's carriers/battleships there with fighters only
-- I place all of my silos/airbases in India
-- All 3 red players launch bombers at me and destory much of my gear but not before I'd bombed Africa to death
-- I launch my 3 silos at Russia and miss with 15 nukes
-- I hit SF/LA/Mexico/Lima with subs but could not hit Santiago
-- More JESUS bombers come and nearly wipe me out
-- I finally stop hitting Africa and we ally. Hank is nearly empty but I still have 10 carriers left.
-- We then ally with the 2 blue players
-- I send my last 15 bombers up to Moscow in 3 waves and hit it once
-- Hank pulls ahead of me by hitting London after Weps fires all his silos (5 in Norway, 1 in UK)
-- Silo-nukes from both Europe and Russia bring Africa back down a little
-- Hank and I leave the blue alliance and giggle like schoolgirls until the game ends

Moral of the Story:

-- Blowing stuff up is better than defending. And we didn't Ceasefire except when allied.
-- Alliances can be very useful when convenient but they tend to limit your scoring options.

Can't touch this!

However, with having almost no nukes for the 2nd half of the game, you and I did quite well ROFL.

That was one of the more hilarious games I've ever played =)

Can you provide some insight on how you did this?

I placed all of my navy in the Indian and destory Hank's carriers/battleships there with fighters only

massive wave? casualty %? How many launched at once?

- keep.

Launched from 9 carriers, 3-5 fighters each and targeted the carriers first.
