Great Diplomacy!

Heh. Wow. What a game. Certainly one for the books. 25 cities, 200m population. I end up with USA and decided to stuck with Russia to mass-nuke Europe near the end. We stick together, but don't exactly carry out that plan.
The first thing that happens is as soon as DEFCON 1 hits, I launch a nuke at Sydney.
After that fiasco, about an hour of gametime passes, then Africa and Asia's navies scuffle. Asia ends up getting booted or leaving, and they exchange some blows, Asia losing Iran and India. After a while, Asia ends up rejoining so we're all green again. I propose to boot Africa, he gets booted, and then everything goes downhill. I decided to ambush SA by hitting his navy while allied. I get a few ships and a few nukes at his silos, but he joins red and me and him go at it. We tear each other's navies to pieces, but I prevail in the long run, getting 3/6 of his silos. I take out Mexico, and keep my Pacific forces by Peru, since I got a peace going with Asia.
Europe and Russia at somepoint decide to hate each other and Russia sub-bombs Europe's military. Europe decides to stick with green side for some reason while Russia pounds him. Russia drops green, but I stick with him behind the scenes as an ally. Eventually, Asia joins red, so now we have me and Europe as green, Russia blue, and Asia, SA, and Africa red. SA and Africa end up dropping, and neither will leave me alone with their freaking subs, so I have to ride out several small attacks. Eventually both mass-launch, neither of them targetting me.
Europe decides to be mean and raise his subs between Canada and Greenland and try to hit me. I had subs there too and was able to see them raise so I got them mostly destroyed. Europe nukes New York City, taking his score doooown, since we're still allied, but whatever. I stay on his side for a while. Then Russia decides to nuke me from the poles with his subs so now I have 5 people trying to sub nuke me all at different times. I stop his nukes, join Russian alliance, and move my subs from Greenland to Africa, trying to get to Asia who is highest in points next to me and Russia. Well, victory timer hits.
I panic, raise subs, turn Kinshasa into a crater, mass-launch silos at Asia. Oooohhh guess what, Asia subs me. I have no choice but to ride out the attack, but Russia's navy comes to the rescue! He helps hold off everyone else while I shoot all my ICBMs at the big Asian cities. Asia decides to launch with the timer at about 25 minutes, but he launched too late as my missles started impacting. With Kinshasa a crater and the Asian cities gone, I ride out the sub attacks and pull through to the lead. Had Asia launched with me at the timer, I may have lost. His ICBMs were just over Canada as the game ended.
