Sorry guys

Postby Feud » Thu Feb 01, 2007 6:32 pm

To eDDie, Sovereign, and everyone else I was playing with this morning,

I don't know what was up with my connection, but it would run fine, then drop the second the game started. I really apologize for it, and believe me, no one was more irritated then I was. So, sorry, hope to see you around!

It's okay Feud - we still managed to get a game off in the end - although half way through the carnage I got called away to Real Life business and had to quit :(

You missed some evil fun though - i was SA allied with NA, and spotted that my ally was a little *too* trusting with his unit placement. Come Defcon1, i reduced both the West and East coasts to smouldering rubble. Predictably, this didn't sit well with my former chum, who levelled more four-letter whiny bitchiness my way than my nukes did to him :D

I calmly tried to explain that "you should only ever win the honourable way" was a ridiculous precept to follow in a game of nuclear warfare.

That said, I am habitually a solid and extremely faithful ally - in fact, this was the first time i'd ever backstabbed at Defcon 1 - but i've got to admit it made for a fun twenty minutes or so :D
