You would of thought that someone in the 31 US school rampages since Columbine would of been able to beat Andrew Kehoe's 1927 score?
Too soon?

Nothings too soon, but when you think about it. A lot of these fucks probably couldn't hold their own in a real shootout, that's why they prey on the weak.
Makes me sick.

Thousands of both children and adults die annually from different causes, some of which are much more painful than being shot. Number of CT shooting victims is around 20. It is a tragedy for families which lost their kids, but media attention given to this story is overinflated.
Data are for the U.S. and are final 2009 data:
Heart disease: 599,413
Cancer: 567,628
Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 137,353
Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 128,842
Accidents (unintentional injuries): 118,021
Alzheimer's disease: 79,003
Diabetes: 68,705
Influenza and Pneumonia: 53,692
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 48,935
Intentional self-harm (suicide): 36,909

People die every day. I think this has had the amount of attention it has because of the unusual circumstances, and let's face it, very tragic and UNNECESSARY loss of life.

To be honest I would leave just "unusual circumstances". I doubt death of 20 children in one day throughout US in, say, car accidents would draw nearly as much attention as CT gets now. Meanwhile: don't you think that media is delivering a clear message to all would-be murderers that they will be FAMOUS if they do the same ? You are bullied by other children, and PE teacher is mean to you ? Go ahead and shoot and em all, make the entire world know of your problems !
