I have waited for this game for almost 10 years . After patch 1.05 it still has some flaws. However, I'm enjoying this hack'n'slay very much.
Yesterday, I had almost j*rked off because I had found my first set-item after around 330 h game time. And there is still so much to achieve.
I think there is a playable demo. If you had enjoyed DI and DII you should try the game.

dont waste money on it mvpe..i played it once, finished it off and thats more than enough..game got no reply ability unless you want to play like shubi... ie. just go to random dungeons, click and click monsters and get better gear (which is of no use unless you do PVP)

so simply speaking.. Diablo 3 SUCKS :D

True, if you don't like to hunt for better items to improve your gear, then you can forget this game.
60€ (atm it's 40€) just to play for the story is way too much, though the rendered movies are nice.
On the other hand, Blizzard has included the Paragonlevel, the Monsterlevel and the Infernal machine. There is still much to achieve after you have finished normal difficulty.
Why do/did we play Defcon? It's always a matter of taste.

Edit: @Mr. Rimmer: Why are you shocked?

Must have been a really boring day in Germany, or they just really love Coby. :P

It must be the old 12-sunken-sub-story. I bet Nighty is still mad at Coby about that. And I have still a big smile on my face, when I'm remembering this part of Defcon-history. :P

I was wondering about this. I hope Nighty is making little Nightywatchies. :P
