PM Question

I have a PM in my Outbox from April. What does this mean? Does a PM move to the Sentbox from the Outbox only after it has been read by the recipient? received by the target recipient? What might this indicate as to the status of the message or of the target recipient?

I may be wrong here but I think it means they have not logged in or received it yet. Or they haven't checked their mail.

Exactly! I bet it is a message for Tron :)

TGR, please resize your avatar...try to watch the forum with Internet Explorer. I know there are also other browsers but I can't use them from work. And then It's an old discussion, there is a waste of resources to auto resize the large avatars. :)

You're at work, reading the Defcon forums.

You should resize it without discussion

You should resize yours too. 80 x 80 pixels, not so hard.

This post over there concludes all avatar size discussions. Have a nice day.
(NOT moderating here! Just enforcing a simple, clear, technical rule that the forum can't enforce on its own.)

This is clearly a browser problem. No issues in Firefox, Chrome or Safari. If you are using IE you deserve the wrath of a million angry Muslims raining their sandals down upon you.

Hey, bert! I have a 5000x5000 image that I would like to use as an avatar. That's not going to cause any problems, is it? I mean, it's only 40MB. Also, I can't say that I am surprised about quickly some people put their avatars back in place. Wrath of the admin in 3... 2...

No, you're wrong. It wastes bandwidth, memory and CPU power for everyone. Not so much an issue for people at home, but for mobile users.
I had to remove your avatar again, this time for copyright infringement.
And OpenFlow's avatar, too, for not understanding which direction of 'resize' to go for. Hint: you were supposed to make it smaller.
There is a "screw this, I am tired of this game, don't let them ever have avatars again"-button. It is right next to the "remove current avatar" button and quite tempting. I mention that because you obviously have not read the link I gave you earlier.

And, putting that threatening hat down and simply assuming I speak for every sane person around here: geez, will you two stop talking to each other already? Or at least stop quote-pyramiding each other? All you're doing is annoy everyone else.
