So, a couple months ago, I wanted to try to test myself against the CPU. "But hold on, the CPU plays worse than noob!" you may say, but the CPU has one great strength: numbers. I found it impossible to beat the CPU when outnumbered 2 v 1 or 4 v 2 in survival mode. But recently, I won a match, 3 v 2, with (out of original pop of 100) 18 and 16 (or maybe 16 and 14) fpr me, with the CPU at 10, 10, and 8 (or 6).
Survival mode really is the only way to play the CPU as default makes it easier the more enemies you have, the more there are to kill, the more points one can get, but the enemy can only get a max of 200, and it is divided amongst them.
any comments?

No kidding. There was a time when I could maintain a positive score; hell, maybe even win once in a great while. That time has long since passed.
