CPU challenge

So, a couple months ago, I wanted to try to test myself against the CPU. "But hold on, the CPU plays worse than noob!" you may say, but the CPU has one great strength: numbers. I found it impossible to beat the CPU when outnumbered 2 v 1 or 4 v 2 in survival mode. But recently, I won a match, 3 v 2, with (out of original pop of 100) 18 and 16 (or maybe 16 and 14) fpr me, with the CPU at 10, 10, and 8 (or 6).

Survival mode really is the only way to play the CPU as default makes it easier the more enemies you have, the more there are to kill, the more points one can get, but the enemy can only get a max of 200, and it is divided amongst them.

any comments?

CPU's stop attacking you at a certain % i feel... i've ended matches with the CPU where they will have subs full off my coast, but won't launch. not sure if thats how it is in survival mode.

It's universal. But they stop when all your cities are below 0.5M population, so to beat them exploiting that, you have to bash them all below the same level.

Altering the numbers of cities and populations makes a big difference in the outcome of games. Think this thing with the CPU having a problem killing low cities might be related?

I would imagine the devs intended the CPU not kill very tiny cities so that it didn't waste nukes. The way we play the game now is very different than the game played in the beginning.

No kidding. There was a time when I could maintain a positive score; hell, maybe even win once in a great while. That time has long since passed.
