"1 v 1 is boring," everyone says.
The truth is that everyone is afraid to play 1 v 1.
Anyone who has played it seriously knows that is much more stressful to play than 2 v 2. The reason for this is because there are no excuses in 1 v 1. In 2 v 2, you are a team. If you lose, it's not just you who loses, it is you and your ally.
But in 1 v 1, if you lose, then YOU LOSE.
2 v 2 is more fun to play than 1 v 1, but less fun to watch. 1 v 1 is less fun to play but more fun to watch. No one really watches 2 v 2's from start to finish. 1 v 1 is really the "showman's game."
Everyone is a coward from this so they run to 2 v 2, even though 1 v 1 is the true test of skill (someone of my amazingness can also dominate at 2 v 2).

It sounds to me like you are coming off a string of south draws. So you whooped EU as Africa did you?
Where was your amazingness in our recent Russia (me) EU (you) game eh?
Seriously tho, I disagree. They are different games is all, and it depends on ones mood and individual preferences. I for one prefer quick decisions, and the chances of "instant action" (nearby enemies) is far better in 2v2 than 1v1. In addition, 2v2 games offer far more complications (and hence options) imo, whereas in many 1v1 games the contest can be decided based on mere territory draws (south vs north) or fleet deployments (good/bad guesses) alone.

No.
IMHO your apology of 1v1 plays is subjective. That's the way you feel about this, attention hog.
