It appears to be part of a Steam-wide achievement add: lots of games are included.

Maybe that saucer code got revived to become Santa's sleigh?

How does one win this one, I wonder?

The window to achieve this is quite small. On Christmas Eve (server time), Santa can be found (in a sleigh) transversing the artic at the end of a train of reindeer (frequently entering and leaving the black). Simply target the sleigh with a fighter or battleship and he goes down rather easily. There is no effect whatsoever on the in-game score.
