I played around with the equation and I think I found a better one:

TC = (-D(P)/D(T) + V(P)/V(T))*1000D(P) = number of player defeats, D(T) = number of team defeats
V(P) = number of player victories, V(T) = number of team victories
This explains why the Zoros have better TC values than Yoshi, though all have the same V/D ratio.
Team [biG] has (slighty) more victories than the best team on earth. Therefore, Yoshi's one victory counts lesser than Zoro's victory for Team SBN.
On the other hand, Team SBN has slighty more defeats than the worst team on earth. Zoros responsibility for the team defeat score is lesser than Yoshi's defeat for Team FAT ASS.
