My disconnection shitlist

Postby rimbaud » Sat Mar 13, 2010 1:34 pm

Hello

A lot games, people seem to disconnect when losing which is really annoying when you have waited 20 mins for a 3v3. I realise everyone has connection problems at times (especially me), but I keep a list of people who obviously do it on purpose so I can kick them from games.

Just in case you are interested it is here:

Actuality it saves me time waiting for a game for someone to immediately disconnect.

Anyone can use whatever name they choose. Your just going to end up with a huge list of id's that represent nothing.

Play on the servers that are hosted with Dedcon that also uses the griefing system or atleast produces logs. So when you do come across these guys, you can report them and the server's admin can handle it from there.

Atleast give the server name you played on along with date and time when you add to the "spreadsheet"

You also got to think that not everybody is going to care about online gaming ethics. But they still have the right to play how they want, they might get banned from certain servers but they won't change.

That "Rommel" guy was on my ban list a year ago and it looks like he plays the same. So you just have to learn to enjoy the satisfaction of making them rage quit and come on here to the forums if you want to find the right kind of players to game with.

Honored

I'm honored to be on your list... actually I've disconnected many more times than once, often because my wife wants me to stop playing! Unfortunately she takes precedence over nuclear war. But it would help if I just played when she's not around. I'll try harder next time!
I've been known on online games as Prokofiev Pirate on Myth: TFL and Myth II; The Egressor on Halo 2, and Foibleson and Halo 3.
