Apologies for this, but i think i'm missing something...

Postby pinkegobox » Wed Jun 21, 2006 1:23 pm

Hi there, i normally hate posts like this but i've spent ages looking around the forum and have somehow missed the answer so i figure i might as well post...

Is there a form where you can sign up to be a beta tester?

I read an article about defcon ages ago, and as a fan of uplink I am very much looking forward to this game... and willing to help out.

Oh, and another quick question, i've read several mentions of Dual-Monitor support which would be _very_ cool, and i can't imagine _that_ hard to implement (well, if the monitors are at identical resolutions). is there any official word on this?

Thanks for reading (and sorry for posting this :S),

Rob

edit: i know you get beta from alpha... which is fine, but i can't see an application for that either?

Defcon tester sign up

Confusingly not put in the defcon forum, which meant I missed it first time around, but you can still seemingly sign up so there might be a chance of getting in.

Beta testers where picked from the most hard-working Alphas - so you're unlikley to get into that even if IV choose some more testers.

I am sure the devs are working on stuff. There are some things that just take a little longer to fix than a few days, so don't fret guys, we will see another version eventually.

Not sure what I can/can't say, so I'll just say that the game is still being worked on. Testers haven't been forgotten.

well, like i said i signed up just in case. I wasn't really expecting to get in, just thought it was worth trying as i've plenty of time on my hands at the moment (the joys of finishing uni and waiting before you get a job :)).

Cheers for all the replies,

Rob
