Windows 7 or vista..?

Hi to all
I am planning to buy new laptop.But confused little which system to buy.So please share your experience so i can get some ideas.which one is better..?

Get Windows 7.
I've been known on online games as Prokofiev Pirate on Myth: TFL and Myth II; The Egressor on Halo 2, and Foibleson and Halo 3.

hi all !
a few minutes ago i have installed win 7 and now i cannot play defcon. :shock: sound and graphic stuttering! :?
i hope to resolve the problems soon

maybe someone has an idea !?

1st clueless guess: Did you try to update the graphic drivers?

Since i bought vista, i feel like i got "screwed". It's using tons of Ram (1 Go whithout doing anything), and the hole direct X10.1 is only marketing bullsh**.
XP seems to be faster, more stable, and cheaper..

So i'll back up Xander (never though i would !) choose XP.

my problems are solved with a new driver update.
win 7 seems really fast

I didn't like Vista at first, but it's grown on me. You just have to tweak it a bit. I disabled the UAC crap, and most of the useless vista graphics/programs. Then I use XP compatibility mode with older games/programs. Everything runs fast and smooth.

P.S. Don't get 64-bit... Most programs/games don't support it, yet. You'll run into tons of problems, and see little benefit.
