I have the PC game, can I get a discount for the Mac?

Having bought Defcon a long time ago when it was released, I'd like to play some more, only my computer now is a Mac. I could run it on Parallel, but I was wondering whether there is a discount for people who want to buy the other version.

The forum (and especially, this forum) would be the wrong place to ask, the important people who could give you the discount aren't reading it. Check here with Ambrosia software, makers and publishers of the Mac port and around there (forums, etc) for a better place to ask your question. Though I have to say the answer is very, very likely to be 'No' because of the complicated way the Mac publishing works.

The answer is no. Ambrosia will not give you a discount on the Mac version if you have the Windows version any more than Valve will give you a discount on the Steam version if you have already bought the Windows version direct from IV.

Yeah, but it isn't any cheaper than it is if you already own the IV version.
