I didn't watch the game, but it sounds like it would've been a very close, if Blackbeard stuck with it. Killing 50m = 150 points... (-1 for defender, +2 for offender)

So, 3 tight volleys toward the defended 17mill should kill at least 10mill. (~30pts) Then you can hit all the cities in the undefended territory down to .2m-.5m ,with the rest of the silo nukes. Let's say ~40m killed, so that's another 120 pts.

Take away mad subs, or add TI subs and it probably would've been a TI win.

Keep in mind that Blacky did get some of his nukes of before silos were killed by subs.
We didnt scout him.
How you are able to kill 10 million Europeans with 3 silo rounds (18 nukes) against 3 silos is beyond me. Dosent matter how tight your packages are, you have to hit EU all accross the board.
If it doesnt work, no more than 10 nukes will get trough.
That leaves what for SA (assume no sub will achieve a hit): 60 - 18 - 24* = 18 nukes left for SA.
Lets assume for the sake of argument that you killed everyone in EU but 5 million people. Its tupid but anyway.
You would hve to totally destroy me (virtual kill 99.9% of my population) to achieve victory.
Thats totally impossible. Even if Blacky launched all his subs at me TI would end up somewhere below 99 mill kills.
Keep in mind they had only 5.2mill survivors together while EU had 17.7 mill and SA 44.1 mill left.
Its impossible to win this scenario with a full silo load and 11 subs.


* minus (at least) 24 nukes because Blacky did get them off in the real game before the subs were able to kill silos. I think he was able to launch more, but im not sure.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to win with 5mill survivors.... or even double that.


If the pop was spread out, it would require many more nukes. However, with only 3 silos defending, more would get through. So it's not so bad.

Cause i didnt remember the subs and assumed Blacky would be able to launch subs.
And i didnt check the survivor count before the end.
