Complete rubbish.

In the first example, you are more or less keeping an overly complicated version of win = 5 loss = 0. In the second example, the winning team just needs to play more games, even if they lose them all, to win.

Well, that's the reason why all teams must have same number of played ladder games. Like in sport competitions.
If happens that some team does not play, is not active, the other 2 teams who made their games between them will be awarded. Disqualification for inactive guys.

victory--->3 points
draw--->1
lose--->0

And, as i can see Ace there are other ppl who are willing to pay simbolic fee so give us paypal account we can pay.

:lol: :lol: Typical Team B aproach. We play 1 game/year => let's reduce the ammount of games that can be played by other teams to that 1 game/year so that their activity/our inactivity doesn't give any advantages/disadvantages :lol:

MOR should join the game using the name of some other team player. (At the risk of massive complication you could even assign the reluctant team a loss by default through a mechanism of first declaring themselves ready to play.)

I wish to enter this new round of play.

There is no any typical "B aproach", just simple logical rules.
There will be duration of tournement and during that period all games have to be made. 6 weeks are enough?

If you wish you can play your all 20 games against other team in just 1 day, but 21. game against same team will not be valuable for score.

If we (with our so called "Typical Team B aproach") do not play we rescue to be disqulified. So, where is the problem?

Negative points can be used in other way. If some team refuse to play against some players (ACE/RUS/MOR/MOJO as happened in this season for example, ) negative points can be applied. To prevent BOR (somebody use it like excuse for not playing) just fix in game setup max duration of game (4 hours + budget time limit enabled).
Captain bonus is cancelled so there is no reason for not playing. You refuse official challenge? 3 points less.
But, this is just an idea which has not to be accepted.

Of course, numbers i used here are just an example and they have to be determinated by ladder administrator.

I agree with the donation via Paypal.

As for the games played, I also agree that each team should play a specific number of games within the time frame of the tourney. And perhaps to avoid people not joining when "big" players are in the game we should all log into the server under pseudonyms, or simply "team A", "team B" and so on. Players join as their team names, and once the game has started they reveal who they really are.

Hmmm?

This is good idea. My vote for it.
