Hey, i have an idea for a ladder player ranking, but cant test it, because i dont want to enter 50+ games in a execl table. So can you be so kind to put such a table online too with google?
The idea goes like this.
Every player starts with rank 0
When a team plays the individual scores are sumed to have a team rank.
After the game the team rank will be modified by this:
If higher ranked team wins:
Winner: +game score difference/team rank difference
Loser: -game score difference/team rank difference
If lower ranked team wins:
Winner: + ( (game score difference+teamscore difference)/2)
Loser: - the same
After that the gain or lose in team rank is halfed and added to the individuel rank of the team players
all numbers are rounded, no fractions
if team rank difference is 0, it will be set to 1
difference means the absolute value, never a negative value.
Think its easy understandable after some examples and also incooperates the game score.
It also gives the lower ranked players a nice leap if they win (or if a higher ranked wins with a lower on his side).
Well actually i dont like the "if lower ranked team wins" formula, but i cant think of a better one.

or wait how is that:
for everyone:
Winner: + |game score diff + team score diff| / |game score diff - teamscore diff |
Loser: - |game score diff + team score diff| / |game score diff -teamscore diff|
| | <- absolute value
nah, thats crappy also
but you got the idea
, so can i have a game results table please
