I've tried countless of times to connect your 2v2 server, With no prevail. What kind of connection are you running the server with?

that's a neat idea with the nooby training center.

I can join your 2vs2, but I have a high ping. (500-1000) I'm on east coast USA.

thanks the nooby centre is under way,I did not need much incentive as i was trained by someone
whom i still dont know.I think his name was xray fighter but was always diff.
Anyway i feel obligated to show others as its a bit overwhelming at the start :D especially with all the good old timers around lol

How do you train noobs?
The only way to master this game is to play against stronger opponents. What makes this server different from others?

i have made it so all players radar is locked to sharing and all players including spectators can controll all the units including opponents ...like a classroom !!would make for an interesting game for experienced players also :D imagine it would be absolute mayhem ...lol

You'd be surprised how long it takes people to figure out how to make smaller sets in the navy, or bunch silos together, or keep units out of enemy radar range. Usually when I play 2vs2 with such a person, I let them know about the basic things they're doing wrong...

If each one, teach one; the noobs will learn and enjoy the game more. So we'll have more players sticking around and a better average skill level. All I see is win.

Now, about the server itself... I dunno about sharing radar with both teams.... kinda hard to teach about radar like that... or about spectators controlling units... that could lead to some childishness. I think you should keep radar locked to allies, but allow both team members to control each others units.

That is impossible. You can allow everyone to control every unit, or you can restrict contol to own units.

This feature begs for abuse, especially by opponents. I can see it (maybe) with a "teacher" spectator, but only if the game is comprised of reasonably mature people. So, I won't be playing ... But if I do, I will charge 100 quid per hour to teach.

My rates are significantly higher, but I won't teach that textbook stuff that Tobias will teach you.
