can't see the point of dual logging.

The person is effectively playing by himself.

Theres a word for that isn't there ?

Seems like it would take all the fun out of the game.

ya thats what i said, it got a bit boring/tedious.

Though it was still considerably better than teaming with a complete noobs, thats what spurred me to do it in the first place.

dual duel

Postby Tsar Bomba » Thu Oct 02, 2008 8:15 am

I was loaded the other night and tried dual logging - i picked random names to protect my identity. As it ended up i couldn't find a 2v2 to play so i just played 1v1. Was a pretty good game, but i had the feeling that the other guy knew where my ships were. When i tried to sneak though the gap, he nuked all my subs. And when at the end of the game when I was loosing I tried a fake launch, but he didn't buy it; he tried to take out my silos, but i conveniently had bombers circling in the area of his subs.

I believe our friend MB used this tactic. His goal was to prevent a legitimate winner, not to win himself per se.
