CPU cheatery

Postby CaptRamius » Fri Aug 29, 2008 5:17 pm

I've just spectated a game where a player playing EU left, and the replacement CPU knew about (ie silo targeted) a radar, a silo and an airfield on the China Sea, with no EU units having gone near, and no alliance either that would reveal them.

For disamiguation purposes: WANKERTRON is in the Green alliance, not the Turquoise one; all alliances have been this way since the start; no backstabbing by this point.

I'm guessing it was this game.

I've seen this happen, as well. Not only launching on targets that haven't been revealed yet, but also hunting subs by going directly to them. It only happens when they're replacement CPUs...not when you start with CPUs.

Just watched the playback. Europe started out as Russia's ally. They were sharing radar, so Europe COULD see Japan. No cheating.

Seems Russia waited for the CPU to launch, then left his alliance and launched.

OK, my apologies - obviously not paying attention as I thought I was.
