Be advised, I normally just play against AI due to a lack of internet.

Anyway, I've been reading through the forums and have come up with a couple of questions;

1. Are there any keys or hotkeys that I should be using? The only key I use is the spacebar to unclick an object and the mouse to select targets/objects.

2. Is there a way to select multiple units at once?

3. My fleets get demolished by computer AI, any tips? I've been making smaller fleets and trying to micromanage the battles but it doesn't seem to be working for the smaller fleets just get demolished by the computers 6 ship groups.

Any other help is much appreciated

1. well, W,A,S,D move the screen and stuff - there's a list of Hotkeys somewhere in the options menu, I think.

2. Nope - lots of clicking is required.

3. Why are you getting slaughtered? Are their subs getting you while your carriers are launching aircraft? Do their battleships kill your carriers? Are you getting mobbed by everything at once? Do what they do back at them, and see if it helps.

No, don't! You can do much better than that if you pay attention.

Keep your battleships at the front, carriers just behind, and fly bombers behind your battleships - works best when they're coming to you. Not the most original tactic, but sure to work against the AI

@ Pox - Well yeah, I meant that more as a hint to start working out what he was doing wrong.

You can select a 'whole' fleet holding down the shift key

shift+ then rightclick and select fleet mode

this works good with subs and carriers.

a fleet beeing any number of vessels from 1 - 6 depending on how you set up you deployable items.
