Everybody (in Microbe's territory) Dies! >_<

Postby Microbe » Thu Jan 31, 2008 6:19 pm

Greetings all! I am Microbe and I got this game about three days or so ago, so I thought I'd pop in and say hello to the community and so forth (been lurking you for a day or so now  )

I am terrible. Truly awful. So I have been reading all sorts of threads in Strategic Air Command and so on and hopefully I'll get better (perhaps.....maybe.....okay it's unlikely, but a guy can dream can he not? >_>). I have also watched three games that were linked on here (all with Ace Rimmer in oddly, a six player game with a mindblowing stab on Moscow and Lenningrad, another six player where Ace got 705 points, and a 1v1 challenge with Ace (Russia) vs. Hyperion (South America) which went on for a verrrry long time) and really hope to see more.

So yes, I hope to see you guys around, both here and in games (as soon as I work out how I actually get into games as a spectator).

Microbe out!

Hehe. Hopefully  Btw great game against Ender, I like how you put little tactics you were going to use in the game in the alliance chat. I found it helpful to know your goals at the start of the game like that. Do a lot of players do that?

Some do. I tend to forget most of the time.

I specced Pox v Xocrates and they both provided commentary via the alliance chat.

Pox especially, and I must say that it was very enjoyable - especially when he found subs, or blind ocean nuked.

I try to do it, but unless someone is actually watching the game I usually forget.
