So what is the result of this all? I don't mean the vote count, but the consequence of it.

I see there has been work put into the forum administration. Just kudayta is still in the list. That's not what I expected to happen. What did the ambiguous term demote mean in the first place?

I don't think he got promoted. He simply stayed an admin while the other 2 got some privileges taken from them.

Isn't that a promotion, relatively speaking? The other mod that was voted to remain the same rank now has far less power.

Vic can also add/remove users to the 'Defcon moderators' group, but who even knows what that means because here's no transparency here at all. Just a lot of silence and evasion.

Funny how Vic's indignant rant defending his integrity was lengthier than all the other 'updates' combined.

I have same rights as before.
Apparently so does Vic, though he is now also "group leader" for moderators. I doubt he can give/remove mod rights at will, in any case it's obvious John wants Vic as the main mod. So I'd count that as promotion.
