It was more of a stupid joke than a real vote rig attempt... One acc from 200x posted "I vote for equality" and the other was a new one, full of childish swearing. There's no merit in pushing it.

Trolls..there are many, but if Vic will be able to ensure a transparent election until the end (voiding the votes from the users registered after the start of the election and superviseing, as he's doing, the correct evolution of the election itself) this will be a very good page for the community and probably a good chance for a new start. New for all, I hope.
I think we all can learn something from this experience, and generally we can try to spend our time here with more respect.
I'm the first to be easily involved in hard word discussions and surely I have to learn to consider more the weigh of the words.
But first of all we need to restore justice and freedom because without justice and freedom it's impossible to have peace. We need a new scheme of cohabitation, we need the efforts of everyone and we need to restart in a different condition.
Trolls and newcomers can't thieve our chance (our=of the entire community..and baton and kud themselves).
We need to be equal between us.

Hello All,

First, I realize this is my first post, and given some of the discussion on this thread I just want to preemptively address any concern against my ballot's validity. Currently I am somewhat active in the defcon world, and though my account was created fairly recently, I have been actively following the forums for some time and have just not felt the need to post until recently. I have been engaged in this process before this vote thread, and my account was created before this thread.

In any event, my ballot is as follows:

Kud- Demoted
Laika- Remains Same Rank
DTNC Vicious- Remains Same Rank

Sadly you don't want to take this as chance, no problem. But nothing can continue without a new page, demoting a guy (kudayta) that is a problem instead of a solution. You could obviously don't see the things in this way but I'm deeply convinced that he has harshly abused of his power, not only banning Baton.

I see also the aptitude to falsification of many (I could say that you support kud because he's your friend, but as you know this is a false argument, and using this thread for this accusations is at least suspicious) so I try my best for the objectivity, about the facts and about the solution. If you want you can continue to talk about me instead of the problem.

It's not only about unbaning Baton, but unfair moderating, power tripping, editing/deleting/locking/shutting down the discussion...
