I'd go with this or a similiar plan right away to get games going while people are still interested in the tourney.

New rules? For that reason I am out! I had a lot of fun with my two games. I wish you all the best.

Why would you be out because we're trying to generate more games?

I think that a "never ending" tournament could sprout from the idea we are applying to this tournament. It would have a winner every month and it would start over. Possibly 1v1, 2v2, 3v3. The scoring will have to be different. I'll get back to everyone about this when this tournament is over.

I am not interested in a tourney with rules that are changing, and could change again.

I am sorry you feel that way but I am doing what I got to do. Witch is to make sure this tournament ends. The old way would not of worked. 4 people enlisted on this tournament list has been off steam, and/or unable to be contacted through any forms of communication since the tournament has began with no games played.

Edit: Plus would like to add this way you don't have to wait 5 hours to get a game started.

Because in order for the old way to work we would need 18 players to finish 3 games each. Were not going to get 18 players to get all on the same time zone to play 3 games, or for some to even dedicated time for 1 game let alone 3.

The more time gos by the more people lose interest, the more people lose interest the chances of it finishing is very slim.

I can play today at these times if you're about. Doubt anyone else can, bloody yanks and their silly "5-10 hours in the past" ticky-tockers

I know i haven't been on Defcon for over half a year now and have no part in this tourney, but just want to say this from a side liners perspective.

It seems regardless of whether the rules and settings of this tourney are aimed to make sure this tourney actually follows through to the end, or the fact that it helps make sure one doesn't wait a damn month for one tourney game, time is still a noticeable factor here, both in time zone and private life terms.
