Bert, I have a couple of questions when you have time:

1. Do unranked games 'decay'?
2. Other servers have the setscore feature, but is it only dedcons that contribute to the ranking table?

Thank you.

2. If by "other servers" you mean "other dedicated servers" and by "dedcons" you mean "dedcons run by bert", yes. Paranoia,AKE servers etc run the dedcon server, but are not part of the "Dedcon Test" system and rankings table. AFAIK there are no servers up other than Bert's that actually have the ranking turned on.

1. Yes, with the same speed as the ranked games.

2. Pox is right. Unfortunately, the ranking tables are not something you can simply turn on, there is a bit of manual work involved, I only supply the building blocks.
I'd be happy to incorporate other servers into my stats; all that is required is some way to haul the event logs over from the game server to my server. I'm quite flexible regarding what I can receive, as long as its something that makes sure the logs come from a trusted source, and I can easily make the resulting include files for the ingame notifications available for download.

You may beat me after what I say but I see no reason for revoking game's scores. Dr. Strangelove and backstabber joined to have a game and they are not obliged to restart just because somebody was stupid enough not to place his silos o_O AllStar or not, normal rules apply :? you chose to quit, they chose to stay. Don't quit next time until you are sure everyone is going to do the same.

Bert said: Done, the game won't count

Cobra and Nightwatch no worries about that..

Mike, I ask the players if they are agree to leave the game, Nightwatch, Cobra and Lolita leaves so the game must to revoking..

Also Bert who decided that..

I don't see a connection

idiot player no matter who they are forgets their silos

Well I just imagine that when I play a 6-player game and somebody forgets to place smth I don't care about it. Nor do I agree to restart. Why do I need to start again if somebody was stupid? Now, some players also disconnected but that doesn't change things :? Why do I need to start again if
a) One of the players was stupid,
b) Some players decided to leave no matter why?

In that case that player "backstabber" didn't do anything illegal.

Not that I ever play allstar games or ever agree with rus|Mike, but

I agree with rus|Mike! Surely all you allstars must be good enough to cope with a game where someone does something stupid or drops?! The rest of us have to do it all the time

Oh, and also, it sounds like your little "top six group" might be getting a leeeetle too cliquey. If the allstar server seeds people on ranking, and not enough of your little clique turns up, then you'll have to play with the plebs ... and if you can't hack it, too bad :P

Just my £0.02 - Cheers Tripper

I suggest a new (maybe additional) time for the Allstar server. I can rarely play on Sundays, so how about a Weekday AllStar in addition to the Weekend AllStar. My times would be 11:00 am-12:00 pm GMT. I'd show up for those (most of the time).

I second Mr. Rimmer. I have family commitments most sundays, and it's no fun cooking for ten people, then having to rush to the computer with a full stomach. I've been starting to get indigestion on Sundays lately :(
