I think screenshots turn out that way when you use certain resolutions (like 1366 x768). Try using a different resolution and see if it fixes the screenshot.

The city setup didnt favor that, also i really didnt go for the complete zero on him, at the end i was focusing on giving him advice, not maximizing kills. Once i took out all his units i just randomly launched on him, then spoke to him about how to place better, and try and play better overall next time
Edit: Thats something i feel many of you should start doing, as our community is dwindling. Instead of someone like kudayta killing them and just ripping their game apart. Beat them then explain how they can improve. The goal should not be to completely scare them away.

Playing the part of devils advocate...: Why should we have to train them? I, and I speak for a lot of the other old guard, had to learn the hard way and take our lumps to get better. I personally don't play to have to coach other people through it anymore. If I want to play a noob bash, that is exactly what I am going to do. Nothing against you dusty, but I will not start doing that, as I have done it enough already.

Fair enough, and i respect your view, but unfortunately alot of the newer people dont have the will or metal to take the beatings and learn from it. So if we want our community to grow, we need to help them a bit. I completely understand if you and the old guard disagree but im just stating my opinion.
Re: I think i broke defcon, noob bashing + screenshot.
I think newbies willing to play competitevely have all means they need to learn - forum discussions, recordings of good players, some in-game advice. Coaching requires a lot of effort which no one owes anyone, imo it's a new player's problem to convince others to spend their time on him.

I think vertical resolution not dividable by 8 is the exact condition.

I would guess that *horizontal* resolution not divisible by 4 (or something similar---the problem is clearly that each row of pixels is too short). The bitmap file format stores images in rows of pixels, and pads every row to an even multiple of 4 bytes which (depending on how the image is stored; e.g. the color depth) represents 4 pixels. If you don't pad the row properly, the image that is output will contain an off-by-one (or -two or -three) error like the one at the top of this thread. Granted, Defcon outputs .png images, not .bmp (right? am I remembering this correctly?), but it is possible that there is a similar problem here.
