1v1 Tournament

RULES AND CONDITIONS BELOW

Welcome to the official Group 6 Affiliated 1v1 Tournament. The tournament will take place on Group 6 1v1 Default server. In order to play you must sign up here. For simplicity the set up will be sudden death for each match. Matches will be picked by a random Generator.



Rules:

1. There will be no rage quitting.

2. At the end of each game, you must take a fully zoomed out screenshot of the stats and post it here. IF Failed to post a screenshot the game will not count.

3. Restarts/Drops/Pause:

• When restarting, you must selected the same territory as previous game.
  
• 6 Min is the guideline for pausing.
  
• If a player drops or quits before Defcon 3 the game will not count.
  
• Player drop pause wait time is 15-20
  
• Exploiting pause/drop/restart rules to gain an advantage will result in immediate disqualification. Found guilty you will receive a penalty of a 3 Month Ban

I was thinking speed budget as well. A considerable budget as too. Like the min slow time would be 15 mins. Refill would be a little slower. I can set the Vic timer to go off after 6-7 hours weather or not the game has 20 percent left of nuke stock.

That sounds good otherwise some might exploit "BOR" tactic.

Games should be fast and simple.

Even though its a 1v1 tourney which makes it easier with the arrangements, I just get that feeling that this will just be another one that will end up unfinished and die out.

I can only hope this one is more organised this time. (if it gets underway that is)

EDIT:

Also in regards of how many teams, i think it would be better to increase the amount to 16 for the sake of making the knockout system easier (or reduce 8 teams if there isn't enough players signed up). Unless your doing a qualifying style 1st round, then i guess that could work too.

I think a max game time would be a great idea. And it needs to be a bracket and not a round robin or it won't work. But you can sign me up for this.

I Already have the config ready. Slow budget will be 2½ Hours. No Refill, once you use it up its gone. This way it makes for a speedy Tournament. Max game time 7 hours. Default everything. (Was easy)

It will be successful. All we need is min 8 players. After that it will hopefully be 4-6 days and it will end.
