No sound device

Postby The Mighty Santa » Sun Feb 02, 2014 4:24 am

I just recently reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop. My laptop’s Device Manager shows that there is a Legacy Audio Driver and Codec installed, but I have no audio icon nor can I start Defcon because I have no sound. Can anyone help? I’ve already tried installing the drivers/codecs, but nothing’s worked so far. Thanks! :D

Did you reinstall it from recovery hard drive partition or from vendor disc ? Those should've installed drivers. If not, try searching them on net for your laptop.

Try again.

First you must know what your motherboard is to download proper drivers.
