i agree with Zoro. Ronaldo is just a shampoo model. I know what i'm speaking about. He remembers me Ginola.

Ew. Bad comparison. Let's do Cristiano is like nickleback, while Ronaldo is like Metallica.

Updated again. I took myself out because idk how much I'll be able to play in the coming weeks (and because i suck). Laika gets back in. Byron will be back in for sure after the schlacking he just gave me.

Yeah Endless got Rekt FreshTM by Byron today. I pulled off a personal win but was unable to pull off a team win. :(

I'm still not sure if I'm "back" back. I have really enjoyed playing the last few days though, so maybe. It's great to see so many old and new faces around.

Rec (EU/AS v RU/AF).

I don't think Endless was exactly "rekt". Out of pure desperation I sacrificed 2/3 of my fleet and managed to get his silos and half his subs. I'm happy making that trade, but it was a good fight and he gave as good as he got.

My opinion on 2v2s are that there are no personal wins, outside of maybe some moral victories such as holding your own while getting doubled or putting on a good game while being partnered with a noob. The only score that actually matters is the combined team scores. Very often it's the better partner who spends his time and units clearing a path for the other one to clean up: Individual scores might not reflect actual contributions. With that said, you did an awesome job of fighting it to the end. That's always a good thing. Your finishing bomber wave (which you were able to do because you dominated Indian Ocean battle) was great and if I hadn't subbed your silos when you launched it would have been quite a close game.

Anyway, lots of fun. Looking forward to doing it again, maybe with less wacky territories though.

This is what rekt fresh is: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=52191
I was not saying he was "rekt" but was referring to this strategy used by Max.

Also thank you, it was a fun game.

Can anyone remember exactly how Bert's rankings worked? Ideally, the actual maths behind it too.

Inside the dedcon package there is a rating.py and a rating.ini file. Not sure yet how it works exactly.

Fuck, I'm not even mentioned. Half if not more of all tricks in the book I dreamt up. Others just got better at executing some of them.
And who was the guy that invented the silo triangulation?
