GTA5 - who can't wait and who's gonna be off work tuesday to play it.
Me- im taking my 11 year old son to midnight opening of Game and buying him platinum edition. (dont start giving me shite about adult content - i am fully aware oF what i am buying for my son - and dont mind because I know him and his pals will play it anyway if i was against it)
Then the little creep is off to bed because he has school the next day and Im gonna spend all night/day playing it!
I win twice - once because he will be one of the first kids in school to own the game - twice because I will play it all day and night till he comes back from school!!

Re: OFF TOPIC - but what the hell
I am - i'm the mum you wish you had.
Seriously though the little fucker will go behind my back, play it anyway and only get things outta context. I already made that mistake when his dad got him a PS3 with GTA4 bundled for his 9th birthday. Caught him killing strippers with hand grenades when i thought he was asleep .
But after a long row and me sulking i eventually started playing it myself and buying him assasins creed where he jumps off roofs and knifes people in the back.
But this time, its all gonna be upfront - me and my boy will take it turn to go on killing sprees and compete to complete it 1st. He's a good boy, he understands the difference between game reality and the world. His dad takes him shooting and apparently hes really nervous around real guns so somethings working.
When i was his age it was all about horror films and nastys like texas chainsaw massacre - your kids will have 3d virtual porn and printed weapons for you to police.

Don't worry Moth, I'm sure you are doing the right thing as far as anyone knows what to do when raising kids.
I am in Croatia on holiday: everyone here just plays defcon all the time to be like their hero Baton.

And i think you make right allowing him play games he like. Prohibit your son (or any kid) play game becasue there is violence? And where is no violence? Just have to be able to keep "measure" like in everything.

If buying GTA V makes you send your kids to school, you should go for it
