I was a Deputy Sheriff/Investigator for the Cook County Sheriff Dept in IL. I retired in 2002.

All in good fun Deputy.

But as others have pointed out, yeah, the modding aspect of this game is pretty much kaput. I know you're not much of a social guy, but you should try out some of the online matches. In a game against a human, there's not much time for chit chat with your opponent in any case.

LOL...haven't heard/seen that reference for a LONG time.

I'ts a community diverse and knowledgeable nice people, haha well some are assholes a couple miscreants alot of us have known each other for years, Spent years strait playing Defcon ha ha. We all from time to time check in on each other, the game to see how its doing and play for a couple weeks when life allows. Most of us know each other's styles when we use aliases to trick each other and act accordingly. This game will never die because the community is strong and to most of us executing a flawless plan against a skilled opponent you've known for a long time after a couple of hours of talking shit is pure bliss lol. I miss you all be on when I have time. Just checking in on my stupid smart phone.
