I think what Cal means is more along this line. The power of one.

but i think putting them so close together is not a good idea, they are easily killed by an nuclear bomb + if they surface and one is destroyed the others are likely to die in the blast as well

That looks more like the Gulf of Mexico than the Caribbean. :P

My picture wasn't intended to illustrate intelligent deployments. I can think of situations where putting 12 subs in the Bay of Caribexico is a good idea, or a bad one. I'm not looking for that discussion.

The point was to illustrate that where 6 subs cannot go, 1 might be able to.

Notice I never disputed the point that a fleet of 1 can go where a fleet of 6 can't. I was pointing out that Radiant Caligula's statement of' "And no way u can jam 6 subs inside the Caribbean." is in fact not true. However, getting a fleet of 6 subs in the Gulf of Mexico is different matter. :P

yeah, sorry for not checking before claiming that. But I'm confident there are several places 6subs cant go. Gonna post my findings soon.

Just in case there's any confusion left about the carribean...

100 subs, count 'em!

And just because I didn't want to waste 100 subs for nothin'....

Well, I think this school is working. I played a 5 player game this morning before heading off to work (gotta love being 5 min from couch to desk) and while NICEGUY isn't new (he won), another player who stated this (general area of the forums) has helped with his strategy/technique. He came second. I came in third. :(

I made several minor mistakes.

By the way, I'll be available in a couple of hours to play if anyones interested or if anyone still needs to finish a duel with me and can. Only have time for one game though..

I'm available. So maybe I'll join you.

Will you create a game or simply join a pre-existent one?
