I'm sure I read that somewhere recently, was it in the New Scientist?

It doesn't seem to be anything much to worry about though, to be frank. There's sod all that most people can do about it.

more worried about global warming myself. At least us British have invented an electric car which reaches a nice maximum speed of 90 mph. It cost's £50,000 that's $100,000 in poor american dollars!!!!!

And as we all know, us British also exclusively generate electricity from non-polluting means... oh wait, no we dont. ;)

Its just senstionalist bull

MAD bias is so heavily in favor of the US today, it's not even funny

Russia's defenses are rusting away (what with that 15 hour gap where they won't even know if a pigeon takes a shit on Putin's head), and they have fewer nukes than they did in the 80's

The PRC only has 12 ICBM's, while America has ten times that and more to spare

North Korea only has a hand full of short range nukes, and they'll piss of China (NK's only 'ally') if they use them

Iran wants nukes, but aside from a remote bunker they have nothing

Bush Tip #1: The word TERRORIST must always be written in capitals so as to strike fear into the eyes of the reader

Australia first damn it!

Wiki wrote:The treaty was negotiated in Kyoto, Japan in December 1997, opened for signature on March 16, 1998, and closed on March 15, 1999. The agreement came into force on February 16, 2005 following ratification by Russia on November 18, 2004. As of December 2006, a total of 169 countries and other governmental entities have ratified the agreement (representing over 61.6% of emissions from Annex I countries).[6][7] Notable exceptions include the United States and Australia. Other countries, like India and China, which have ratified the protocol, are not required to reduce carbon emissions under the present agreement despite their relatively large populations.

If global warming continues...my house will be oceanfront property, it will always be warm, and rising sea levels will make Belgium no longer exist, and finally there will be a sensible form of mandatory birth control...

Sounds like a win-win to me.

I am actively increasing CO2 in the atmosphere by smoking two joints in the morning, two in the evening, and smoking two joints after i smoke two joints.
