Running your own server is by far the interesting solution. As much 'free' webspace as you've got hard discs.

A lot of hosting sites will host the image indefinitely - i.e. forever - but you probably still want to check the terms in case they change it to tubgirl after 3 months or something.

My personal favourite used to be ImageShack but I have a website to host things for me now...

just create a geocites account and host your own images. its all free and at the end of the day if you get bored you can ccreate your own website.

You're right. Truth is, I use tinypic only when I want to post a picture once. If I want to be able to find the picture again, I need a site (like photobucket) where I can have an account that lists all the pics I've uploaded.
