You can't upload it from your PC, You need to host it on a site like Imageshack.

Another question about avatars:

I just added a new avatar (see left) but I have a question:

When I entered the URL for the avatar, I just copied the URL of the website which had this particular graphic displayed. Is this okay? I mean, this isn't going to cause trouble for the original website, is it? Or do I need to host it somewhere else? I just don't want to cause problems for some guy I don't even know. :?:

Yeah...not cool. That's called Stealing Bandwidth. It's not like he'll sue or anything, just upload it somewhere else.

Ah, exactly what I needed to know! Thanks! I'll change it immediately.

Update: okay, moved to my own site. Done and done. Thanks!

Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

*random show-offery*

Check my avatar out now, it has a code running that changes it every time you refresh...

It's something I threw together awhile ago. Too bad that something messed up and It won't let me log into the directory anymore, I wanted to add a bunch more into it.

NeoThermic's and Montyphy's avatars are 1337er. :P Not only do they change every time you reload, but they select from a different set of images for the different forums.

Indeed, though I think that prophile's dynamically changing avatar is the best that I have seen -- it manipulates the images before displaying them :P
