of course, linux-friendly encouragement would have to include "get your GIMP on" ;)

s/linux/FOSS

I am on a Mac, and use the GIMP. No reason to discriminate against non-Linux people. :(

taking FOSS to mean Free and Open-Source Software... How does Mac fit in? ;) OSCSS is more like it (Overpriced but Shiny Closed-Source Software).

Although GIMP is indeed free.

Anyway, while my original statement only included Linux, it did not exclude Mac. Can't you get GIMP for windows anyway?

That was kind of my point. You suggested that one use the GIMP to be Linux-friendly. I pointed out that you can use the GIMP for other platforms, thus, using the GIMP is not specifically Linux friendly, but open source friendly. Thank you for agreeing with me.

I use M$ Windoze (shudder) and the GIMP (since it is the Gnu Image Manipulation Program).

And isn't Mac OS X Open source -ish, since it's based on FreeBSD (or was it OpenBSD?).

Anybody else got any art?

Just post a massive version of your avatar... THAT will get people's attention.

I'm not epileptic though *twitch*

Plus, although I'm not a fan of torture devices in general (at least not when they're used on me), epileptic torture devices are a different story .
