Fighter turning radius...

The turning radius of fighters really needs to be fixed. I constantly lose fighters due to fuel range when they're facing away from carriers because they turn so darned slow. It's even slower than bombers! Anybody feel the same frustration?

Also, I'm still trying to figure out their distance circles. The first one is their weapons range and the second is their max fuel range, yes? But no "scout and return" circle? Am I missing something?

fighters automaticly return when their "order" is done. If you send a fighter on an order that's done before they get there (IE take down a bomber) they'll move to that point & go home.

But they give YOU the benefit of the doubt: they will happily go on suicide runs at your command. After all, you're the commander: you're susposed to be SMARTER then meer pilots! :)

If you want to keep your fighters alive only send them out to a maxium of half their fuel range. Its not rocket science. :wink:

Ya, ya, it's just not as easy as if there were a ring or something. Especially when trying to do it fast.

Yeah it took me a while to figure out that the ring was for MAX range.... not the "i'm half out of fuel i better turn around" ring. Would be nice to have an option to cut that diameter in half.

Ive lost more planes to suicidal scouting missions than I care to think about.
