The Defcon folder is 58.9Mb
57Mb of that is sounds.dat

Its an awsome game, and proves that you don't need top of the range graphics and videos to make an awsome game.

I've got to wonder whether the $15 and $25 price is that much of an advantage. With the reviews that have come out so far, who wouldn't pay $40 or $50 for it. I would have. Instead, I bought one for me and one as a gift.

I think quite the opposite. My interest was piqued after discovering Darwinia, but the 17 dollar sale was a "price is right" moment. The phrase "how can you go wrong for 17 dollars?" was how I sold it to other people.

I think this game has the potential to be semi-viral. People are picking it up on the cheap, and immediatley want their friends to play with them. The price point enables this.
