How about a tutorial option on that poll? Or a, I don't give a flying feck about you and your polls? Be bold and make a real statement with you poll.

That singleplayer is mine. Why would I go online and get my ass handed to me first thing? That's just silly.

if there was a spectate option maybe.... I chose multi, as I like learning by doing. I've already read the manual. ;-)

I will play singleplayer to learn the mechanics and to enjoy a slower paced game. I will play Multiplayer for some challenging play with Humans behind the button.... and for a more moderatly fast paced game.

My first couple of games will prob be single player games running at different speeds (15 minutes, "office" mode, somewhere in the middle) to get used to the various pacings before I consider playing against live opponents.

Tcha!

Single player, man. I'm new to the rts thing, and even though this is completely different than all the others (which is one of the reasons I got it) I'm still a total n00b so I'll be practicing like a mofo on single before I even consider going online... which will probably be about 3 hours after playing the game. b

I think notforsale meant a spectate option in the poll... right?

The NDA says you shouldn't disclose anything you can't prove was public knowledge, and since the screenies are, you're fine here.

Grrr I think you should relese all the NDA info when there is exactly 1 day left on the clock. You are making me impatient Introversion (in a good way)

The NDA for Darwinia lasted a year, so even after the game was released there was stuff beta testers couldn't talk about (like how things had changed during various stages of development).

Anyway, I don't get broadband fitted in this house till 13th October, so single player for me :(

Our NDA's cover all the beta info for the period of one whole year. Thus we won't be able to disclose anything releated to the beta's until about 7 months later :)
