Well if i ellaborate a little you may understand my thinking.
My style of gameplay, Basically i let the cpu make the first move against me, And i keep all my silo's in defence mode, Until the enemy has either exhausted his nukes, Or i get vaped. I then have my own attack using my remaining carriers and subs/silo's etc.
Most times during this counter attack, Whiile i am getting my subs and carriers into position, The counter starts, And the game ends while i still have missles flying.
So pehaps as a comprimise, When playing against the CPU the Human should decide when the game ends, And when playing online, Perhaps a vote should be cast to decide the game length, This may be the case, I don't know at the moment, I was just wondering if there will be a way to turn it of in the full version.
First, you are using the present tense when you describe your tactics. That leads one to think that you are already playing the game. As the only people that can currently play the game are IV staff, beta testers, reviewers, and people who have illegally downloaded review copies of the game, this is a concern. You are not IV staff, and you are not a beta tester. You might be a reviewer, but I doubt that. That means that if you are playing the game (as your post implies), you are doing so illegally. If this is true, I would not flaunt it on these forums. We don't take to kindly to pirates here.
Second, if the game is finishing before you launch your nukes, it is incumbant upon you to learn to deal with it. As I said above, the timer starts after a certain number of nukes have been fired. I believe that the time can be altered, and that the nuke threshold can be altered. However, I don't know with any real degree of certainty.
