Actually in the second video, from the looks of it, N.A. fired its silo nukes then shortly after this a nuke detonated in southern Japan (likely a N.A. Sub?). Following these two events South East Asia and Eurasia fired mostly at eachother(!) as well as sending nukes towards N.A.

It also seemed like a lot of the initial nukes fired at N.A. were intercepted, did the N.A. Silos have time to switch back to defense mode or was I just not seeing things right.

the sound that is played when the game announces the new defcon level is probably one of the coolest sounds the human ear could ever come in contact with

It might just be a glitch in the audio, but I kinda like the little "(blip)" when the victory timer gets to 0.

I noticed the intercepts as well. I too think NA had enough time to switch it's silo's back to defense mode. There was a delay before Asia and Euroasia Launched after the initial NA launch.

Yeah the end of the fighting is so... quiet... long after the majority of the nukes are gone.

The reason I think it is population is because if you look at the video it looks like the person has a radar setting selected and a lil butten that looks like a person so i figured it was showing population.
