Us Betas found it more interesting if the players did a write up of there own accounts. It helps provide insights into what they were planning and thinking. Especially nice for getting the gossip regarding alliances.

Felix - Removed from EU3 (Per request by PM)

That makes it one spot left in the european games.

If you could add me to the 8PM (Pacific) US match, that'd be great. Thanks :)

A blog maybe... live streaming would probably be a bad idea as spectators can see the whole map and their insights would give a lot away. I trust spectators and players not to go cheating, but having someone specifically there to write a live account of the battle would be a big temptation for those of lesser moral fibre ;) (and lets face it, we all get off on the idea of nuking cities full of innocent civilians...)

well, it would be cool if the matches were recorded and the highligts put in a video later!

a blog could announce nuclear launches and stuff that alla players can see

Nooo... you don't want to blog individual launches for 30 minute matches, because that would be stupid :P

Hmmm. Someone posting in IRC sounds OK to me. Only thing I can think of that would be a problem is if one of the players is in there too, getting info about the others.
I was planning on making an update to the website after each game with scores and match winners. Hoxe will handle doing so during the EU matches (I will be at work), and I'll do it during the EU matches.
