It's at xfire's discretion. The game doesn't support xfire, xfire supports the game. They'll only be able to do that once they have the game, so expect to wait a good few weeks yet.

So, you're aiming for plus 60 fps for what purpose? I bet you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between 30 and 60fps.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is xfire? I just tried googling it, but every link seems to be blocked by the school's filters. I suppose I could wait to find out until I get home from work, but I am leaving town this weekend, and won't be back until Monday :)

XFire is an IM client. It also tracks what games you're playing.

Oops, I thought XFire was the abbreviation for CrossFire these days.

Hehe Montyphy

Its very likely Xfire will support the game. It seems as though its going to sell quite well - mainly thanks to the success of Darwinia which is good to know there'l be lots of poeple online to nuke :D Xfire also supports Darwinia so im sure they will support Defcon, its just a matter of time. Maybe if IV emailed Xfire the locations of the game files required for Xfire to "pick up" that DEFCON is installed it would speed up the process of adding it to the Xfire supported games list.

If Defcon can join a game by using console commands, then we can probably just... Hop in :D
