Mouse key remapping

Postby ander75it » Fri Sep 22, 2006 9:12 am

Skimming the manual, I noticed that DEFCON uses left click to attack, right click to move. Is it possible to remap the buttons to have the opposite? I am used to right attack left move. Also, if it is not possible in-game, would inverting the mouse keys in Windows CP work?

I have found that it is very easy to pick up a different style of clicking in RTSs, eg, moving from warcraft to zero hour (the aforementioned left to right change) was relatively painless. Playing the game live makes the mouse like one of those anti-barking dog collars that shocks you whenever you click wrong; it only takes a few clicks.
But it's stilla viable question and has piqued my interest, so...

Yes, I believe it won't bother me much, but as I already use three different softwares at work, each with a different way for rotating, zooming and moving around drawings and models, I'd rather not do the same at home :)

Ability to re-map keys Is pretty much standard in games now

If not, then yes, CP will have no problems
