I'm starting to realize why most people today possess so little common sense. It's because they have it spelled out for them instead.

Seriously though, nice article. I know a few people who could probably do with a reading of it, but the sad thing is that they likely wouldn't absorb any of it. Take for instance this chat snippet from when I was helping to test the Worms 4 online demo:

Defcon[T17]: if the game ended incorrectly then SEND IN PROBLEM REPORTS!!!
Rabble: I'm too lazy!
Rabble: I have to exit the game
Defcon[T17]: well then do not expect anymore updates
Rabble: erh
Rabble: I'll be running to the report.
Rabble: Brb.
Munkee: good lad.

Sad, isn't it?

I should give this to my dad. He calls me to the "family" computer and tells me to look at the screen.

I see only a desktop and he says, "Fix it."

EH? Fix what? :? He points to one of the desktop items and says, "That one. Fix it."

So I go double click on that .ink, and it says it's invalid. So, I said to him that it's invalid. He still said to fix it.

I go over to My Computer, double-click C:\, and find that the Program Files folder was deleted. I ask him why it was, and he said that someone on the Yahoo forums said to do that to take out all the viruses.

How happy I am to deny access to my own personal computer now. :D

This is either deja vu or insanity, but this topic was posted in full form at some point in the past (with the exception of some different users, same ideas).
