Fallout Shelter Signs!

Postby zerohourrct » Sat Sep 09, 2006 1:21 am

Post the location of any fall out shelter signs you find, the condition of the fallout shelter (if you know it), and a picture of the sign if you feel inclined. Most rusted picture that is still readable wins!
-On the science wing of my high-school, picture will follow tomarrow (very rusted!), the actual shelter is now a computer/classroom and isnt even airtight anymore :p. (it has had air conditioner vents installed, not that the air conditioners actually work)

Yep, when I was on holiday in Wales I saw a secret nuclear base signposted, it was also marked on maps and apparently is open to visitors... I imagine this is some new usage of the word 'secret' that I wasn't previously aware of :P

It sounds awfully familiar... Right! In this context, it's H2G2: Arthur Dent: I suppose this is some strange use of the word safe that I wasn't previously aware of...

Book, movie or radio series?

Oh, forgot. We have a topic on H2G2 over here. But I think it's in the wrong place...

Oh sorry, it wasn't in the movie, yes. But it was in the radio series too, so not only the book. I actually asked where Marvin got it from.

Not sure about it's condition, but there is a fallout shelter (or what's left of it), in our Post Office downtown.

Kinda hilarious- it's like an afterthought really.

Yeah, I got it from the books, I think it was probably in the radio series too.
